Every group gets exactly two lines. A group with three lines pointing at it means one match needs a second look — students can self-correct before anything is graded.
With ten fixed matches and the answer key on the hub, a whole class set grades in minutes — it works equally well as a warm-up, an exit ticket, or a substitute-day activity.
For a harder pass, students fold the group column back and write the group name from memory next to each food — same sheet, twice the retrieval practice.
Ask one student per group to defend a match out loud ('salmon is a protein food because…'). The sentence matters more than the line.
