One Pan Spaghetti

Perfect for a busy weeknight, this one pan spaghetti dish has grains, vegetables, meat, and dairy. Enjoy it with a side of fruit.

Directions

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Brown meat and onions in a large skillet over medium-high heat (300 degrees F in an electric skillet).
  3. Drain fat.
  4. Stir in water, tomato sauce, sugar, and spices; bring to a boil.
  5. Add spaghetti, cover pan, and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking.
  6. When spaghetti is tender, top with grated cheese.
  7. Refrigerate leftovers with in 2 hours.
