Fiesta Hummus

This dip is full of protein and can be served with vegetables or whole wheat pita for a healthy snack. Make it as spicy as you like by adding more or less of the cayenne pepper and jalapeno pepper.

Directions

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Drain and mash garbanzo beans in blender, food processor, or with fork.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Chill one hour or overnight.
  6. Serve on crackers or tortilla chips.
  7. Promptly refrigerate leftovers.
