  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Wash the spinach.
  3. Trim off the stems.
  4. Put the spinach, black pepper, and lemon juice in a pan.
  5. Cook over medium heat.
  6. Let the spinach boil for about 3 minutes, until just tender.
