Apple Chunk Cake

Directions

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix sugar, oil and eggs together.
  3. Beat well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda.
  5. Add to egg batter and mix well.
  6. Add 2 cups of apple chunks and applesauce to the batter.
  7. Stir to combine.
  8. Coat an 8x8-inch baking pan with vegetable oil spray and pour in batter.
  9. Bake until done, about 1 hour.
  10. Place 2 cups of apple slices on top of apple cake and serve.
