Granola with Oatmeal, Coconut, and Pecans

Directions

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Conventional Oven: Heat oven to 350 ºF. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, except raisins, mix well.
  3. Bake in 13x9 inch baking pan at 350 ºF for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Stir every 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in raisins.
  6. Cool thoroughly.
  7. Store in tightly covered container.
  8. Electric Skillet: Combine all ingredients except raisins in a large microwave safe bowl; mix well.
  9. Set electric skillet at 300 ºF and stir mixture constantly until lightly browned.
  10. Place in a bowl and stir in raisins.
  11. Cool thoroughly.
  12. Store in tightly covered container.
  13. Microwave: Combine all ingredients, except raisins in a large microwave safe bowl; mix well.
  14. Place in 11x7 glass baking dish.
  15. Cook at HIGH about 8 minutes or until golden brown, stirring after every 2 minutes of cooking; stir in raisins.
  16. Place onto un-greased cookie sheet or aluminum foil to cool.
  17. Cool thoroughly.
  18. Store in a tightly covered container.
