Green Bean and Mushroom Medley

Lemon pepper seasoning and garlic salt give a flavor punch to this mushroom, carrot, and green bean side dish.

Directions

  1. Wash hands with soap and water.
  2. Place green beans and carrots in 1 inch of boiling water.
  3. Cover, and cook until tender but still firm.
  4. Drain.
  5. Add oil to heated skillet.
  6. Sauté onions and mushrooms until almost tender.
  7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 3 minutes.
  8. Stir in green beans, carrots, lemon pepper, garlic salt, and toasted almonds.
  9. Cover and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.
